2. Structure: The structure of the sitar is very interesting. It has a long neck, the upper main string usually has 7 strings, and the lower 11 are sustained resonating strings. The way to play is to pluck the strings with your fingers. The resonating string does not need to be played when playing on the main string. The resonance box is made of a gourd cover, and there is usually only one. Master-level models also have two resonance boxes. |
3. Features: The sitar is famous all over the world thanks to the development of rock music. The timbre is soft and round, embodying the complaining, melodious and tortuous melody in Indian music, which is the most charming and magical.
